For the Kids: Our 2018 Toy Drive
Performance Technic
For our second event of the later half of 2018, we decided to focus on the holidays and the children who may not be so fortunate to get a visit from Santa. In partnership with the Fremont Fire Department, we opened our shop doors to friends, family, customers, and anyone else who wanted to donate to a great cause: brightening a child’s holiday experience.
We take great pride in what we do, and we consider ourselves lucky to love our jobs. That said, it’s extremely important to us to give back to those who support us and those who are in need. It’s because of this wonderful community that we’re able to live our passions, so we always want to use our position to help others benefit.
Below you’ll see a gallery of photos from the event. We were hit with some pretty severe rain throughout the morning, but lots of people still showed up to donate toys and goods—from Schwinn bikes to Hot Wheels to toy tool sets, we collected more than three, full car loads. Inside the shop, we hosted some classic favorites as well as modern machines. Steve from the BMW 2002 FAQ displayed his lovely 2000 Touring out front, while two more Tourings were placed around the tree. In our service department, we gathered customer cars from an E30 M3, a white M4 GTS, an E92 M3, an Alpina B10, and two E36 M3s, one of which is our latest S54 swap project.
Please enjoy the photos from the event, and thank you again to everyone who attended and donated! We wish you a happy holiday and a safe New Year.
